I was photographing a secret something on my front porch this morning, which is always frustrating ’cause I wish I could insta-blog everything I’m psyched about. But check out the not-giving-it-away pictures I can show you! I love the detailed teensy hair-shadows you get from fuzzy laceweight yarns.
Ingredients: sunshine, a camera, Karabella Gossamer, and a big paper bag. My friend Nancy told me about “wedding ring shawls,” so called because you can pull the entire shawl through the inside of your ring. Nancy’s wedding ring shawl is made of similar, though finer, stuff. Gossamer has random bits of glitter infused, which gives it a special extra shimmer. Enjoy the pictures!
